GDC heavy on G, light on D.
The 2009 Game Developers Conference schedule and registration has been posted on the official conference website and I'm noticing a pretty big void where MMOs should be represented. There is of course the Worlds In Motion Summit, and while most of the topics elicited a hearty "ho hum" from me, the one that caught my eye was "Dragonslaying: Facebook Lessons learned from Dungeons and Dragons Tiny Adventures". If you are going to be in San Francisco in March, then you you may want to stop in a learn a little about these wacky pixels we call games at the GDC 2009. Early registration discounts of almost 50% for returning attendees ends tomorrow, so act fast.
