If you're intimidated by the new pile of cards you've got to collect with Whispers of the Old Gods, Blizzard is providing a way you can get a head start with 13 free card packs. All you've got to do is put in a little leg work in game and the card packs will be added to your account.

3 Free Card Packs - Log into the game during launch week. All you've got to do is log in during launch week and three free card packs will be added to your account. 5 Free Card Packs - Win your first two games in the new standard mode. The standard format is the new "official" format for Hearthstone, and gets rid of the Naxxramas and Goblins vs. Gnomes cards. Five free packs are yours for winning your first 2 games. 5 Free Card Packs - After completing your first two wins in Hearthstone's new standard mode you'll be given another challenge to win 7 games in standard. When you do, you'll be awarded with 5 more Whispers of the Old Gods card packs.

As soon as the expansion goes live at approximately 10:30am PT you'll be able to log in and start your card collection.
