Gold Farmers Get Desperate
Weeks after the latest patch went live with the spam report in all of our clients, Blizzard now faces a new type of advertising from the goldspammers: dead bodies!
By killing themselves in succession and laying one after the other, gold farmers are now killing their low level characters near populated areas in more than 4-5 realms in order to get their websites noticed by players, little by little, 3-4 letters at a time.
Blizzard has offered solutions like more active GameMaster support on removing said dead bodies and paying attention to the locations this happens at.
