gPotato Restricts Aika Service, Gains More Cash Shop Woes

gPotato has run into another Cash Shop issue, but this time the problem stems from Aika. Unlike Allods, which had a huge community outrage due to Cash Shop prices, Aika has somewhat of a different problem. As it stands, gPotato only has rights to publish the game in North America and a recent announcement points this out, but also states that IP addresses outside of North America will be blocked. Given the fact that many international players had purchased Cash Shop items only to find themselves locked out from the game has understandably upset more than a few people. Massively contacted Associate Marketing Manager Tara Einis for comment on the situation and received a reply who vowed the team would work towards reaching a fair resolution.
