Blizzard today posted an update to the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft website to let players know that the open beta has been pushed back into 2014. Plans to launch the open beta this month were put on hold to further refine the game before moving into the final testing stage. But from the tone of the update it doesnt sound like it will be a long delay.
There is some good news through. All players that opted in for the beta test via their Battle.net accounts prior to December 16th, 2013 have been invited. So if you opted in before then and havent seen an invite, be sure to check your spam folder. For everyone else, you have until January 7th, 2014 to opt in for the closed beta.
