Although there's no official word from Blizzard, Overwatch it looks like Overwatch will be launching on 24 May 2016. With IGN having kindly revealed a new site skin showing the date, I think we can be pretty assured that it is in fact going to launch on that date. Unless someone at IGN took it upon themselves to mock-up a site skin advertising Overwatch, complete with a fictional date, it's probably safe at this point to book some time off work.
In relation to the release date, I have to say I'm surprised it's so soon but I'm also conscious of the fact that Overwatch could probably launch tomorrow and still be in a better state than most of the competition. With Ranked matches missing, I'm really hoping in the coming month or two they release something that provides a sense of progression.
Either way, I'm really looking forward to the Overwatch launch simply because it's such a good game!
