Autumn Soltice Dance (RP Event)



The nice weather has brought about a great idea on the Thelanis Server.
Community member Risi has invited his fellow players to a server-wide
RP event:

Welcome to the first ever Autumn Solstice Dance! Or what
will be in a
month, anyhow. As the summer season draws to a close, our new
friendship with the local drow tribes shall be renewed, by
participating in a large-scale version of the traditional dance rites
celebrated by our friends. These seasonal rites are designed to
celebrate different events, and the Autumn Solstice shall be a
celebration of our achievements through the year, as well as a chance
to show off all that you have learned and gained! This event is
family-friendly, not that there are too many families around here...
but children of all ages are encouraged to come with adult supervision.



While there will be food and drink available, entertainments galore and
gossip with the elite of Stormreach, in order to join the actual dance
you must have a partner, in the tradition of the drow. Only couples are
allowed to dance, and pairs may not be switched off on the dance floor!
What happens off the dance floor, however... well, the inns will be
booked with delighted party-goers, you can be sure.



Be sure to dress in your finest for this monumental event!



Join us Rhaan 13th beginning near sunset int he evening, and ending
when the stars light your path!



((September 13 beginning at 6pm EST and ending at 1am EST.))



((The idea behind this is to create a large-scale event to perhaps get
some of the RP guilds together and just meet and greet. In Africa
(since we've found a lot of similarities between tribes there and the
drow of Eberron) these huge seasonal or yearly events are the only
chance for family groups or tribes to meet each other and arrange
marriages, celebrate births, and do a little power-pushing through
competitive feasts. It's a good time to get children together and
hopefully gain an alliance with another tribe, as well as bring in new
blood through marriage that keeps everyone healthy, and exchange ideas
and trade. So! Welcome to the Autumn Solstice Dance!))
