League of Legends Gets New Update and Former WoW Lead Designer

<p><em>League of Legends</em> update improves new player experience and former <em>World of Warcraft</em> Lead Systems Designer Greg &quot;Ghostcrawler&quot; Street joins the Riot team.</p>

League of Legends launched its 4.1 update this week ahead of the its 2014 season reset and provide an improved new player experience for newcomers. The update offers a static roster of heroes for new players to learn with for their first few levels. After that, players will use the normal free-to-play rotation of heroes. Additionally, the update also tweaks a number of heroes and will make a number of other changes over time.

Along with the update, Riot Games received a new member of its team recently with the addition of Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street, former lead systems designer for Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft. Ghostcrawler, as he’s known by the WoW community, joins Riot as lead game designer for League of Legends.
