While it doesn't appear to be playing in-game just yet, a new male voice announcer pack is currently on the public beta environment for League of Legends. It has lines that covers all maps (including Summoner's Rift, Crystal Scar, and Twisted Treeline), as well as some specifically for Dominion.
It seems to, at times, either sound like a pirate and/or use pirate slang, which would seem to tie in to the upcoming Bilgewater event. With the Howling Abyss ARAM map set to be replace by the Butcher's Bridge map during the event, it would seem to be the perfect time to include a pirate-themed announcer. Whether he'll be taking over the game for the duration of the event, or will be optional (or whether he'll stick around for the long haul) remains to be seen.
