Creative Director Matt Higby once again took to the PlanetSide 2 forums today to deliver another list of things on the way to SOEs MMOFPS. The big ticket item in the update is a complete revamp of Esamir. The update will bring changes to nearly every outpost and facility in the region and completely replace some others. The new changes will help support the gameplay flow with the lattice connections.
Game Update 13 (GU13) will also include several new consumable implants that players can add to their loadouts and will provide small perks for a limited time. Other changes include a number of bug fixes and enhancements to the respawn window. You can read Higbys update for all the details and try the update out for yourself on PTS.
If all goes as planned, players should see GU13 hitting live servers around July 24th.
