Minecrafts massive 1.7 update is expected to release this Friday, but you can get the pre-release version now if youre impatient. The massive update, which has been dubbed The Update that Changed the World, changes over half a million lines of code to prepare for the upcoming API plug-in, doubles the amount of biomes, adds two new block types, fishing, multiplayer enhancements, chat improvements, and much more.
