Blizzard Poster Nethaera announced yesterday (9.21.2010) that sometime
in the very near future players will have access to a new and exciting
feature via the Mobile Armory; Guild Chat!
Guild Chat will allow you to
chat with your guildmates via Guild Chat,
Officer Chat, and Whispers. Now you can stay connected with your guild
or update them from anywhere if you're going to be late to a raid!
To top off this exciting news after the new Guild Chat feature hits
mobile Blizzard also plans to make Guild Chat available through any
browser on the Armory website. Players should be forewarned that in
order to use this new service they will be required to subscribe to the
premium monthly subscription of the Mobile Armory, however no
additional charges for the Guild Chat feature will apply, so players
will only need to pay the base 2.99 price.
This feature will be especially great for Officers who need to stay in
the know or for regular players that just want to keep in touch with
their online friends. I’ll admit this new addition makes it
very tempting for me to finally break down and subscribe. Read the
