Blizzard while standing firm on the idea behind the new naming policy, appears once again to be willing to discuss it, and is open to suggestions. To have your say head over to the WoW beta forums here. Blizzard started the discussion with this post:

Naming Info
As Enoyls has said, we are currently looking at our policies, more specifically our naming policy. I personally feel that the current policy will allow us to be as consistent as possible, however we are evaluating where we can improve on it. The idea behind the policy was to remove the large scale gibberish and VERY well known real world references from the game. Playing the game and constantly seeing characters named "Ilikechicken and Britneyspears" is not the type of world we are trying to encourage. I feel we have one of the more relaxed policies for naming, however it will take some refinement. That is what we are using this beta for. Not only refinement on game systems, but also on policies and procedures. I like the feedback you all have given, however it MUST be constructive. I feel it is important to understand what we are trying to accomplish with this policy.
