NCsoft Hit with More Layoffs

NCsoft West has been hit with layoffs this week. An NCsoft spokesperson confirmed to Massively today that the publisher has undergone another round of layoffs as part of its restructuring plan for “a greater focus on the success of the Western-developed games from NCSOFT, and the long-term services MMOs require.”

NCsoft was hit with layoffs last year following the closure of their superhero-based MMOG, City of Heroes, and its developer Paragon Studios last November. As always, our best wishes go out to those affected by the layoffs.
