Need for Speed World has been dated for release and EA's popular racing franchise will be making its way to MMOG fans on July 20th, 2010. Along with the announcement, EA also included a headstart option for players who choose to pre-order the game. Pre-orders will be given a one-week headstart and can begin playing on July 13th with the added perk of an experience gain boost. Additionally, pre-orders will also be guaranteed access to all upcoming Need for Speed World beta events.
If you're not sure if this is a game you might be interested in buying there is another option. Starting on July 20th, there will be a free client download available that will give players a taste of the game's content through level 10.
Beginning July 20th, Need for Speed World will be available as a free client download at world.needforspeed.com. The free client gives gamers a taste of the action with access to all races, pursuits and career progression up to level 10.
