Its been a busy year for Star Trek Online (STO), one that Cryptic took some time to reflect on in their recent blog. Just a few of the highlights include the launch of the Season 7 and 8 content, guest appearances by Star Trek: The Next Generations Michael Dorn (Worf) and Dense Crosby (Sela and Tasha Yar), and the launch of the new Legacy of Romulus expansion, adding the Romulan storyline and faction along with loads of new content.
With that look back out of the way, the team gazed into their crystal ball to tease what lies ahead in 2014. And by tease I mean that the story will take players to the Delta Quadrant and see the release of a new unnamed expansion in late 2014.
Your enthusiastic support has put another expansion on the schedule for late in 2014, the blog read. Planning is in the early stages, so there is not much to share just yet, but were really hoping to provide something big for you all.
Like I said, tease. For now thats about all there is on those two tidbits, but you can read the official blog and keep a check on the STO website for future updates.
