Next Expansion Pack?

Hmmm, the Burning Crusade has only been out a short while, and already players around the net are circulating rumors about the next expansion pack. Nethaera from Blizzard had the following to say about it today on the forums.

No one has made any claim. The statement was that we wanted to try to release one new expansion per year. There was no implicit promise made or date set for any announcements of the next expansion or any date set of when exactly we would release it.

All things in good time my friend. :) We will work within the time frame that benefits the game, the players and the company the best, which may mean that it could take longer than a year if need be.
