Sir Bumps-a-lot

The Gelatinous Cube of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (DDO)
has a warning for us all:

It takes me a while to ponder big issues such as this since
I have an
intelligence of "-", however upon careful consideration I have decided
to slightly modify our stance on bumping. The new policy is listed
below:

No superfluous bumping of any sort is allowed in the
general forums. Superfluous bumping is when a post has no other purpose
than to bump a post up to the top of the forums. The classic example of
this would be this post: "/bump." Another example would be posting
"LOL" and nothing else on a thread that hasn't seen any activity for
multiple days and has therefore fallen off the front page of posts. Updating
of marketplace listings is allowed and is not considered bumping as
long as there is something substantial in the update. Allowed: "the
Vorpal cupcake has been sold" or "the Vorpal cupcake is still
available." Not allowed: "/bump"
