Goblinworks bids farewell to Rich Baker and discusses gathering, salvage, outposts, and more in the latest Pathfinder Online dev blog.

Rich Baker, one of the writers and designers behind Pathfinder Online and known for his work on the Dungeons & Dragons series, has bid farewell to the studio to pursue freelance design opportunities and complete his work on Primeval Thule, the first campaign setting from his new startup Sasquatch Game Studio. Baker was responsible for the development of Pathfinder Online’s Emerald Spire superadventure, which he has agreed to aid the studio in if needed once it goes into its final development stages.

We wish Rich Baker the best in his future endeavors and look forward to seeing what his new d20 savage setting campaign has to offer. Technical Artist Seth Frolich joins the Goblinworks team following Baker's departure.

With that unfortunate news out of the way, it’s onto the development stuff. The blog also detailed a more simplified salvage concept and how it may eventually be added to the crafting system, the requirements for harvesting, changes to gathering nodes, and what resources you can obtain from outposts. Additionally, the blog also offers a peek at two more concept images.
