by on Dec 19, 2013

Free-to-play MMORPG publisher Perfect World has opened a new console division to bring current and future games from its suite of developers.

"We are looking at this medium to better connect with gamers," said General Manager of Publishing, Andrew Brown. "The opportunity to work on new types of projects with developers from all over the world is really exciting for us as a company. We are confident in our outlook entering into this new business, and you can expect Perfect World to be a major player in the console marketplace."

Among Perfect World's stable of games are titles from Cryptic Entertainment such as Neverwinter, Star Trek Online and Champions Online as well as other titles such as RaiderZ, Forsaken World and more. The Zombie Studios developed Blacklight: Retribution, which is published by Perfect World, is already available on the PlayStation 4. We’ll have to wait and see what else may head to the consoles in the future.
