Some players might find the fact that virtual space stations can sell for over $300,000 in Planet Calypso a little intimidating, but developer First Planet Company is looking to help new players learn the ropes in their MMOG. In the game's latest update, a new starting area known as the Tenderfoot Grounds has been added to help new players learn how the game works. It even comes with its own microeconomy.
An enhanced newbie experience isn't the only thing the update has added. Veteran players will also find a wide assortment of new vehicles available within the game such as the deadly VTOL aircraft, fast boats and versatile hovercraft, along with the current turreted cars and trucks.
First Planet Company, developer and publisher of the largest real money Massively Multiplayer Online Game, announced today the newest version is available for download. This update brings amazing new vehicles to the world including a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, boats and a futuristic hovercraft. Additionally players will find the Tenderfoot Grounds, a new area to explore to help get them accustomed to Calypso and its real money economy.
