SOE had hoped to kick off the PlanetSide 2 closed beta earlier this week but decided to hold off to provide the devs with some extra time to add address any lingering issues and add a bit more polish to the game before beta testers start flooding the servers. While many players were hoping that the game would be in beta by this weekend, its now looking like it wont get underway until Monday. Luckily, according to SOE boss John Smedley, the chances that well finally see beta start on next week are looking pretty good.
Looking like it's going to be Monday at 2pm for the start of Beta. still a lot of work to do tomorrow and this weekend but looking good.
