PlanetSide 2 Creative Director Matt Higby took to the forums this week to update players on a new game update schedule that will go into effect starting Wednesday, January 15th, 2014. That day will mark the first of the teams new weekly update cadence. The goal of the more rapid updates are to address bugs and balance issues more quickly while delivering new content at a faster pace. Higby explained that this change will also affect PTS, which will be seeing an increase in its update cadence and play testing as well.
The first couple of updates in this series will be a bit smaller than those to follow with the larger features added into the weekly release schedule as theyre completed. You can check out Higbys full post for more.
