SOE deployed Game Update 12 (GU12) for PlanetSide 2 this morning. The new update adds an extended interactive tutorial for destroying vehicles, AV turrets, jump pads, ground vehicle driving, vehicle ammo towers, gate shield, and generator overloading. Along with the new tutorial content, Alerts have been increased across the board and their population requirements tweaked.
GU12 also contains several bug fixes and balance tweaks, new loadouts in the Depot, platoon infantry UI improvements, and more. Read the GU12 patch notes for all the details.
