Rainbow Six Siege DLC Delayed Until February

by on Jan 04, 2016

The first DLC for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has been delayed until February.

Fans waiting for new operators and maps for Rainbow Six Siege will have to wait a bit longer than they thought, because the game's first round of DLC has been pushed back to February 2nd. Operation Black Ice will introduce 2 new operators which haven't been detailed on their ability kits. The only thing we know is that they are likely based off of members of the Canadian Joint Task Force special forces unit.

The new map is another mystery, with only a sort trailer giving us a glimpse into what appears to be a boat frozen into an ice pack. Along with the operator and new map are several new weapon skins and game changes that are being billed as balance tweaks. We can expect to get more details surrounding the operators and the new map as we approach the updated launch date.

Siege has been receiving generally favorable reviews from outlets, but fans have been overwhelmingly supportive of the shooter that favors strategic game play over twitchy reflexes.
