Love him or hate him, its hard to deny the influence that Richard Lord British Garriott has had on the gaming industry. Hes certainly made his mark in good ways with the Ultima series and even suffered his from less than desirable game receptions such as Tabula Rasa. Hes managed to add a virtual robot in the office of his Portalarium development building to conduct business and keep an eye on things and he's even travelled into space.
On January 13th, 2012, a documentary of the Ultima creators ultimate journey into space will be showed at a limited number of locations and through cable provider video on demand options around the nation. You can see the trailer for Garriotts documentary, Man on a Mission, after the break.
