Rockstar revealed gameplay for Grand Theft Auto V at E3 2013, but the end of the video teased something a bit more interesting, referring to the online play as Grand Theft Auto Online. This Thursday Rockstar will be revealing exactly what Grand Theft Auto Online is along with a new gameplay video.
For now, its unclear if Rockstar intends to have an expanded multiplayer mode or go full on MMOG style with Grand Theft Auto Online. The E3 video certainly appeared to give the impression that there were quite a few players wrecking the city. Other games such as Tom Clancys The Division have also adopted a huge online multiplayer mode as part of its gameplay on next gen consoles.
In any case, we'll find out what they're up to this Thursday so stay tuned.
