Runes of Magic (RoM) is expanding on its card game. What was once a cosmetic collection of cards is being morphed into a part of the game that can help benefit players statistically. As part of a multistage roll-out for Chapter III The Elder Kingdoms, RoM has added 48 new monster cards. These cards no longer serve as simple trophies, but to enhance a player's attributes by providing a bonus to certain stats.
