Lord British celebrated the filling of his coffers last week with a Google Hangout celebration as Shroud of the Avatar broke the $3 million milestone. The news comes ahead of the impending release of Update 2, which is expected to launch later this week. Update 2 will add crafting, shopkeepers, character customization options, inventory changes, and a new town.
In addition to that useful bit of news, the fifth chapter to the Blade of the Avatar novel written by written by Tracy Hickman & Richard Garriott has also been released. The installment to the novel is available to Early Founders or to those that purchased the story in the add-on store.
