SOE salutes the troops

SOE has just announced a new contest for troops serving abroad and their families in conjunction with the release of their new PSP title - Field Commander. I know, I know, it's not an MMORPG - but I thought this was a pretty cool contest.

Families of service members need only submit a brief essay to win some very cool prizes, including a $500 Sony Style gift card, a handful of Sony retail titles and, my personal raison d'etre, T-shirts! Check it out:

Send an essay (no more than 250 words) to FieldCommanderPromo@soe.sony.com that details you or your nominee’s current role in the Armed Forces, their gaming habits and why you deserve to win. Five winners will be chosen.
