Star Trek Online is continuing to ramp for its free-to-play launch later this month and Cryptic Studios has outlined a list of rewards for players that help test out the new build on Tribble server.
Additionally, Thursday will mark the official launch of the C-Store on Tribble, but players will only be able to buy items in the Tribble C-Store with Cryptic Test Points. The latest Path to F2P Dev Blog explains that the only way to earn these Test Points is either from Cryptic giveaways during the test period or by buying Cryptic Points on your active account, which will match the amount of Test Points on Tribble server for you to test with.
The only way to qualify for the weekly giveaways is by having a character on Tribble server, so if you would like a shot at some free Test Points, make sure you create a character there. Star Trek Online Executive Producer Stephen DAngelo explained in his blog that players will want to acquire the Test Points to sample some of the new ships that will be available on Tribble.
