Its been a long time coming, but Mac players can now join Star Trek Online (STO). The new client launched today and is available for download on the STO website. Mac players can download the client and join one of the games three factions - Federation, Klingon, or Romulan.
"Star Trek fans have been asking for Star Trek Online on Mac since we launched in 2010. Thanks to the tremendous success weve had with the game, we're excited to be expanding the galaxy again." said Cryptic Studios CTO & Executive Producer, Stephen DAngelo. "We know theres a large gaming community that thrives on Mac and were thrilled to finally be able to let them experience Star Trek Online. It simply looks amazing on Mac widescreens."
