The
writers at CrunchGear have reported that SteelSeries has developed
a new mouse for the gaming pleasure of World of Warcraft players
everywhere. Called the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm MMO Gaming mouse
(could they have made the name any longer?), this mouse will have to be
pretty amazing to cover up the flaws of it’s predecessor. The
first World of Warcraft mouse by SteelSeries received mixed reviews,
but was ultimately plagued by a stream of problems that had most
players clamoring for their money back.

SteelSeries says they’ve taken all the feedback generated
with their first WoW mouse, and along with Blizzard, have created
something that delivers “a more comfortable, intuitive, and
ultimately better experience.”

Complete with 12 buttons that can be programmed with around 130 preset
commands, able to work with both Mac and PC platforms, and able to
store 11 profiles the mouse certainly sounds like a gamers dream.
However things aren’t always what they seem and only time
will tell if this mouse will capture the admiration or scorn of World
of Warcraft players. I personally will be waiting on the reviews to
decide if I will be purchasing the mouse for myself.
