Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) gets a fresh infusion of new content today with the launch of the 2.6: Galactic Starfighter digital expansion. The 12v12 PvP Galactic Starfighter expansion officially launches today, allowing Free status players to join Preferred status and Subscription players in the fight for space supremacy. 2.6 adds new content and features to the Galactic Starfighter expansion that includes the new Bomber role, Deathmatch mode, and new Reputations for both the Empire and Republic.
The 2.6 update also opens the new Kuat Drive Yards Flashpoint, the new KDY Orbital Lifter mount, a new Group Finder category for Tactical Flashpoints, class balance changes, and more. You can read the 2.6: Galactic Starfighter patch notes for the full rundown.
