TERA Update Looks Ahead to 2013

En Masse Entertainment reflects on TERA’s first year and what the devs have planned to kick off 2013.

It’s been a busy first year for En Masse Entertainment and TERA. The online action RPG headed to beta earlier this year with some rather amusing marketing MMO-FO videos starring one Bas Rutten (aka Bad Ass). The official launch came on May 1st with a series of updates that included the addition of new battlegrounds and the Argon Queen to follow. But even with fresh content coming on a regular schedule, you can’t rest on those laurels for long if you want to stay afloat in the MMOG realm.

In TERA’s end of the year update, the En Masse offered a taste of things to come in 2013, starting with the Crucible of Flame, which will improve rewards based on difficulty and efficiency at clearing dungeons and the Champion’s Skyring for PvP fans. Champion’s Skyring will offer a new three vs three battleground to compete in that bars the use of consumable items and uses the Elo rating system.

Additionally, players can also expect to see two new reputation factions, a streamlining to the crafting and gathering system and a number of other changes.

Oh, and you can also enter the code [slaysanta] before January 2nd, 2013 for box of tiny treasure.
