by on Apr 18, 2012

The first self proclaimed MMLOL (Massively Multiplayer Online Laugh-Out-Loud) game, The Family Guy Online, makes its way to open beta.

Fans of the comical animated show, The Family Guy, can get a chance to try out its online gaming counterpart in open beta this week with The Family Guy Online. The free-to-play, browser-based, online gaming title is now in open beta, allowing fans of the series to create their own characters and interact with characters from the show.

Scripted by Family Guy writers and voiced by show talent, Family Guy Online takes players through hilarious game challenges and comical non-sequiturs based on popular episode storylines -- from putting an end to Peter Griffin's incessant singing of "Surfin' Bird"; to traveling the "Road to the Multi-verse." Fresh gameplay content based on new episodes and parody-worthy real-life events will be added to the game frequently in the future.

Players can register for the open beta now and will be distributed a Key to Quahog, which will include the time and date that you can begin playing. The keys are on a first come basis, so head over to The Family Guy Online website and sign up if you’re interested in giving it a try.
