style="font-style: italic;">More mysteries are afoot in the town of Kingsmouth.

Earlier this week we observed a little bit of a buzz on The Secret World Twittersphere. It seemed to us that something was up with the recent activity on four of the Twitter pages for several characters from the fictional town of Kingsmouth. Sheriff Helen Bannerman, Danny Dufresne, Deputy Andy Gardener and the mysterious Carter have all been rather active this week and it doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Another update posted yesterday on the Twitter page for Deputy Andy Gardener talked about an email spam the character had received. Upon further examination, the passage listed on the post referenced a poem from Edgar Allan Poe titled, "The City in the Sea." The Twitter accounts of the other characters lit up with more comments following the post, all hinting at a meeting between Gardener, Carter and Dufresne this Friday to discuss the email and something else that Dufresne and Carter have uncovered. To add more intrigue to the situation, Sheriff Helen Bannerman's Twitter account hints at other events within the town of Kingsmouth.

Posting this here as well: Anyone in vicinity of Innsmouth Academy last Thursday between 5-11 PM please contact Kingsmouth Sheriff's Office.

It stands to reason that Funcom could be setting up their next reveal for The Secret World. Kingsmouth was revealed on January 25th of this year, almost a year ago, so we could very well be seeing some of the clues to lead us to the game's next reveal. What part the characters of Kingsmouth and Poe's poem will play in all of this has yet to be revealed. So stay tuned and we'll update you with any new details.
