I never loved the Witcher franchise as a game, but did do enjoy the IP. When it was first announced as a Netflix series, it was only ever going to be awful, or fantastic. Considering Game of Thrones has ended, its timing is perfect, and having watched the trailer half a dozen times, there's no doubting it looks gorgeous, and could - potentially - be very good. Henry Cavill looks the part, and overall, it looks bloody dark and miserable. Trailer below.
