G. Lance Brazell -Avalon- of Vanguard Vault interviews Justin Deeb, Assistant Designer at Sigil Games!

Avalon: A lot of the arcane casters out there are tired of wearing robes. Why can’t players make light armored looks that are “Shirt/Pants” style, or maybe an “Overcoat” type style (i.e. Trench coats, etc)?

Justin Deeb: I agree. I know I’d love a greatcoat/duster option myself. The art team has made some excellent variations of clothing, including pants, shirts, tunics, and skirts/wraps. They only can do so much though, and there is already a truck-load of art in Vanguard. I sympathize with the arcane casters, and luckily, outfitters
in Vanguard do have the ability to make a shirt or a robe when making
chest pieces. This gives arcane casters the ability to customize their
style if all they are picking up are robes while adventuring.
