Trion Worlds is once again playing for the annual Extra Life gaming charity event with devs from Defiance and RIFT taking part. If youre unfamiliar with the event, its held annually, usually late in the year. Participants are asked to acquire sponsors to donate to the cause with funds benefiting the Childrens Miracle Network Hospital. Then participants engage in a 25 hour gaming marathon. Trion Worlds devs have have taken part past events and will be doing so again this year with devs from both Defiance and RIFT will be online and playing with the community for the full 25-hour marathon and holding a weekend of special events. Additionally, Trion will also be granting prizes to those that donate to the cause in the form of in-game titles and special loot.
The Extra Life gaming charity event takes place on November 2nd, 2013. You can donate to Trions cause, any other, or head over to the Extra Life website to create a page and start your own. Its all for charity so join in to raise some money for a good cause and have fun playing your favorite games in the process.
