Trion Worlds aims to set a new Guinness World Record for in-game marriages with Rift players.

Have you ever wanted to be in the record books? If you play Rift, Trion Worlds is giving you a chance. Trion today announced their intention to set a new Guinness World record for most virtual marriages for Rift through Valentine’s Day.

You can even choose to launch a scripted wedding event for friends and guild mates to attend.

Of course, if MapleStory’s virtual marriage statistics are any indication, don’t expect this fairy tale wedding to have a happy ending.
