Have you ever wanted to be in the record books? If you play Rift, Trion Worlds is giving you a chance. Trion today announced their intention to set a new Guinness World record for most virtual marriages for Rift through Valentines Day.
Trion will try to set the record over a 24hr period with the new wedding feature set to arrive with Rift's 1.7: Carnival of the Ascended update at the beginning of February. All you need to do is visit the marriage vendor in your capital city to purchase a ring and then convince your in-game significant other to accept. You can even choose to launch a scripted wedding event for friends and guild mates to attend.
Of course, if MapleStorys virtual marriage statistics are any indication, dont expect this fairy tale wedding to have a happy ending.
