I guess the Playstation Network can't have all of the fun these days. Right now, all of Trion Worlds is under attack, which is affecting all of their games, such as ArcheAge, RIFT, Defiance, and Trove. Not much else is known, but Trion is aware of the issue and they are communicating over Twitter that they are working to resolve the issue. It looks like any updates regarding the service will come through Twitter, since their official forums will be down as well. If you're not following your favorite Trion game on Twitter, you can keep tabs on the Trion Worlds Twitter account for updates.
There's not much else to say here about this, outside of saying that DDoS attacks are a cheap ploy. Considering you can pay $25 to some bored kids to launch a DDoS attack, it's pretty lame. If you're unhappy with something, find a constructive outlet to air your dissatisfaction. If you think that launching a DDoS attack is a good idea, get a new hobby or seek therapy.
