TSW: More Changes Coming to Fusang PvP

by on Nov 16, 2012

Funcom outlines more changes to address lingering Fusang PvP issues in The Secret World to give the underdog a fighting chance.

Funcom made a host of changes to The Secret World's Fusang PvP with the release of Issue #4 yesterday and merged battlegroups earlier today to maximize population in each map. Unfortunately, this didn’t have the effect that Funcom had hoped, so next week there will be a few more changes to help balance things out. If you’re on the underdog side, expect to see some changes aimed at giving you a fighting chance when facing superior forces.

Additionally, rewards for factions that control a vast majority of the map have been temporarily reduced until a cap can be put in place next week.

“The rewards are also currently too high for a faction that owns a vast majority of the map. We will be reducing the rewards immediately until we can put a proper cap in next week. In addition we are limiting the max amount of White Marks a player can have on them to 1500. If you have more than that amount it will not remove them from your inventory. You can leave Fusang, cash them into Black Marks, and come back into the fight.”
