Aaaaaand in this corner, weighing in at umpteen billion members world wide...
Many games have come around stating that they'll knock the king of the hill of it's pedestal, but so far none have. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, Tabula Rasa, and Lord of the rings were all speculated to be a "WoW killer" at some point in their development. It's no suprise then that with some of the great games coming out in 2008, that we should hear the talk again. Wired.com has an interesting article that talks about three of the biggest challengers to WoW's supremacy and what they do that may make them greater than WoW.
