Last year, Blizzard mentioned a new concept for World of Warcraft fans: War Games. The feature, which will be added when 4.2 hits next week, will allow players to play an unranked arena match or battle ground against the same or a different faction for fun and personal kudos. Because, yes, it's all about the kudos.
Nethaera has posted a brilliant primer which explains the frequently asked questions as well as the ins and outs of War Games. And, you know what, it actually does sound like a lot of fun, even from an anti-PvPer like me. I mean, how many times have you wanted to challenge guildmates, friends as well as rivals and enemies in combat? Yes, this is going to be an amazing feature and should see a lot more PvP action.
