Patch 6.2.3 will be making its way onto the PTR soon, and we wanted to provide you with some insights on what it has in store. Patch 6.2.3 will focus heavily on enhancing the current dungeon system, something players have been clamouring for for quite some time. Here are some highlights from the patch overview:
Six new Cataclysm Timewalking Dungeons will now be available including: Grim Batol, The Stonecore, Lost City of the Tol'vir, Throne of Tides, and The Vortex Pinnacle. Pit of Saron added to the Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking bonus event and Magister's Terrace added to the Burning Crusade bonus event. New rare Infinite Timereaver mount able to be dropped from any Timewalking boss. Introducing Cross-Realm Mythic Raiding to make putting a group together for this raid difficulity easier than ever before. Valor Points are back and can be earned by taking part in Heroic and Mythic Dungeons, various Bonus Events, and the first run through Raid Finder each week. The Grove Warden mount will now be obtainable for a limited time. Players will need to defeat Heroic Archimonde and collect an item that will begin a quest line that you will need to be completed to obtain the mount. Item Upgrades are back. Items now have the potential to be upgraded by 10 levels. A new Areana Seaon is incoming. Arena Season 3 will introduce new gear, including Warmongering Aspirant gear at PvP ilvl 715, Warmongering Combatant gear at ilvl 730, and Warmongering Gladiator gear at 740.All these additions are pretty exciting. While Warlords has been deemed a failure by most players, it seems developers are taking steps in the right direction to wrap this expansion up on a good note. Let's hope the positive momentum continues as we head into the age of Legion. To check out the full preview of this new patch, head over to the official Patch 6.2.3 Preview for all the juicy details.
