Torchlight Level Editor Tutorial with Patrick Blank

In the first of three videos, Patrick Blank, Lead Level Designer for Runic Games' upcoming online game, Torchlight, shows how the level editing tools for Torchlight can be used to create a simple level for players as he explains how the tools for the design function by showing how to create a level with a simple start point and scripted events.

In the second video, Patrick expands on the level creation from the first video by showing players how to expand a level by taking chunks of geometry and using it to expand a level through randomization options. Patrick also explains the function of triggers and how to use them for functions in the design.
