Matt Firor may be best known for his time with Mythic Entertainment and Dark Age of Camelot (DAOC), which is still to this day highly regarded by the PvP community for its RvR (Realm vs Realm) content. Firor recently sat down for a chat with Game Informer to explain the origins and content of The Elder Scrolls Online and what sets the stage for the MMORPG adaptation of the popular RPG series.
Firor explains that the team is making an effort to hit all the little details like making sure that the lands and ruins of the game feel and look like the ones in the RPGs. The devs plan to add in things that the RPG series is known for like rewards for exploration. Theres also one other statement Firor made that is likely to make PvP and DAOC fans perk up a bit:
With my background from Mythic and Dark Age of Camelot, I wanted a kick ass PvP system because all of The Elder Scrolls games, every one of them, have conflict building to the main story. Well, in The Elder Scrolls Online, you can actually be one of those factions and join in the fight, said Firor.
