Jumpgate Evolution is not only a gorgeous space shooter MMO, it's also a remake of NetDevil's first project and a labor of love for CEO Scott Brown and company. Scott updates us on the progress NetDevil's made with the game, with improvements both visual and performance based.

Visually, the game looks better than ever and now has an Elite-style 3D radar to accompany the other visual cues to help you locate nearby enemies. In terms of game performance, the game can handle an order of magnitude more capital ships in an engagement than previously thought, leading to some exciting big screen-style fleet engagments players can weave and fight their way through. Players can choose between three humanoid races and two paths of advancement - PvP and PvE, with plenty of opportunity to switch back and forth. Plenty more details about the latest on Jumpgate Evolution follow in this 8 minute video from NY Comic-Con 2009!
