G4TV's Adam Sessler recently caught up to Star Wars: The Old Republic (SW:TOR) Lead Writer Daniel Erickson to talk about the story and combat of SW:TOR. Erickson explains the way a player's decision will influence the story and how group decisions can lead to conflicts symbolic of old pen and paper RPGs. The story allows for a lot of different options for single and groups of players to figure out the best way of solving.
Another subject the two discussed was combat. While the team initially took a more traditional approach to combat, the initial combat was scrapped for not feeling enough like Star Wars. Instead, the team made combat a little more cinematic. Click here to watch the full interview.
